Preventive Pest Management and Emergency Pest Control Services for the Bedford VA Medical Facility - (Request for Quote)
Contractors ipmp requires but is not limited to addressing the following tasks on the interior and exterior of all buildings, at no additional cost to the government: a. Inspect to determine pest management measures are appropriate. B. Recommend and communicate to the cor the environmental sanitation practices that restrict or eliminate food, water or harborage for pests and recommend engineering practices that limit entry of pests. C. Selection, utilization, and installation at the building s interior and exterior, non- chemical control methods, which eliminate, exclude, or repel pests, i.e. , traps, caulking, air screens, etc. D. Selection and utilization of the most environmentally sound pesticides(s) and application methods that present the lowest potential hazard to human health and non- target animals. Reverse Osmosis System Preventative Maintenance - Atlanta VA Medical Center - (Request for Quotation)
Critical water reverse osmosis and deionized water purification or reagent grade water is required for hematology, serology, microbiology and histology. This system is needed for reliable laboratory procedures and equipment. The installed system needs a service contract for continuous water quality monitoring with monthly maintenance, quality filter change, emergency management as needed and water quality testing every six months. The pathology laboratory cannot function without critical water. This purification system requires as per vha directive. This purified water is required to decontaminate pcr equipment in microbiology. The autoclave requires purified water for sterilization of microbiology and decontamination of fungus and other hazardous biological products. Critical water is also required by the pathology laboratory for daily preparation of quality control materials and reagents. See attached file.
