Seeking qualified firms or consultants to conduct a comprehensive fire station building condition assessment and station location study. Evaluate the six fire stations for: condition assessment narrative; structural integrity and building envelope condition; hvac, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems; code and ada compliance; service life and sustainability; deferred maintenance and life cycle costs; space utilization, ergonomics, and operational functionality; service life of operational equipment (doors, windows, paint, sidewalks, concrete, brick work, retaining walls, etc. ); assessment of maintenance approach compared to new construction estimates. Construction may include, but is not limited to the following: General construction management, supervision, scheduling, coordination, and quality control of all construction activities; Civil, site, and utility construction, including earthwork, grading, paving, drainage, and underground utilities; Structural construction, including concrete, masonry, steel erection, and building foundations; Architectural construction work, including building envelope, roofing, interior build-out, finishes, doors, windows, and related assemblies; Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction, including HVAC systems, electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing systems, and associated controls. The project consists of partial demolition of existing structures and construction of a new, one-story office building approx. 3000 SF in size. The work includes but is not limited to mobilization, stormwater pollution protection, sheeting, shoring and bracing, sewer and stormwater connections, hazardous materials abatement, new fire barrier wall construction, fire sprinkler demolition, earthwork, concrete, framing, insulation, siding, roofing, doors, windows, hardware, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, low voltage IT and access control, fiber optic, solar photovoltaic and battery storage system, sitework, landscape, fencing, and asphalt slurry seal.
