JAF Machine Shop Support *SOLE SOURCE* RFP

Description: Requirement is for a non-personnel services contract to provide preventative maintenance and repair services to the joint armament facility (jaf) machine shop machinery. Perform vibration analysis of machine's spindle including bearings, drive motors as well as electrical problems to determine if any corrective action and preventative actions need to be taken. Perform a Drawbar Force Test to allow for early detection of drawbar tension problems with spindle's Belleville Spring stack, verification of performance of the clamping system to help prevent damage to spindle taper, premature tool wear and other machine features critical to machining accuracy and operator safety. Perform Geometry Inspection to ensure machine accuracy, including parallelism, squareness and true perpendicularity of Cartesian co-ordinance system and machine. See attached file.
