ITB - Hurricane Special Needs Shelter Retrofit

Description: Gadsden County, Florida is soliciting bids for the construction of a Hurricane Special Needs Shelter Retrofit at the Gadsden County Community Hospital, located at 23186 Blue Star Highway (U.S. 90), Quincy, FL. The project involves replacement of all windows and doors and ATS protection as indicated in the ITB documents for a wing of the hospital to serve as a Hurricane Special Needs Shelter, in compliance with emergency management standards, accessibility requirements, and life-safety codes. The project is funded through the Florida Division of Emergency Management (Legislative Appropriation, Grant Number F00100), and this is a re-issuance following the cancellation of ITB 26-05 and ITB 26-12.
