Description: This Contract provides for the removal of one northbound travel lane between NE 39th Street and NE Hazel Dell Avenue. A protected two-way bicycle facility will be implemented between E 40th Street and NE 45th Street. Between the southern driveway of Covington House and NE 45th Street, a separated two-way pedestrian path will be constructed adjacent to the bicycle facility. Enhanced bicycle crossings will be provided at the intersections of F Street with E 39th Street and E 40th Street. In addition, shared lane markings (sharrows) will be installed on F Street between E 39th Street and E 40th Street and other work.
