Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC), a non-profit electric cooperative serving Columbia, Hamilton, Lafayette and Suwannee Counties in Florida, is soliciting proposals (RFP No. 2026-009) from qualified contractors to provide Emergency Fiber Restoration Services throughout its service territory. The scope of work covers damage assessment of fiber circuits (including structures, cable, strand, guying, splice enclosures and associated hardware), full restoration of damaged fiber facilities including transportation of materials, installation, splicing and hardware, cleanup of restoration sites, and proper disposal of damaged material as directed by SVEC.
