Irrigation System Installation for the Fred Arbanas Golf Course and the Frank White, Jr. Sports Complex (RFP)

Nampa Recreation Center

Installation of a new irrigation system. The project scope includes the installation of 6" to 24" diameter HDPE mainline, 2" diameter HDPE laterals, valves, sprinklers, a two-wire control system with computer interface, and a weather station. The existing pump station must be preserved, protected, and integrated with the new system. Bidding contractors, their lead foreman, and at least 80% if the crew must demonstrate experience with a minimum of five comparable irrigation renovation projects completed within the past five years.

City of Neosho

Work includes irrigation head installation and the digging up and removal of the old irrigation heads. The new heads will be installed with the existing swing joints. The contractor will also be responsible for installing a 500 station hunter irrigation controller and running new wire throughout the golf course and hooking up the wire to the existing heads so the system can be run from a computer. All new heads will be hunter heads. The old heads that are dug up will be discarded unless they are a newer style head then those will be kept and stored at the maintenance facility for future use and repair. See outside link.

Irrigation renovation project consists of the installation of approximately 1,475 golf sprinkler heads to be install while open for play golf.
