Project includes replacement and reconfiguration of mcc 1 to address code compliance and space limitations in the existing electrical room. Mcc 1 will be divided into two new units: mcc 1a, located in the upstairs electrical room and sized below 1200a to avoid egress modifications, and mcc 1b, located on the lower level near the high zone pumps. Work will include converting selected pumps to variable frequency drives (vfds), installing necessary valving and motor upgrades, and connecting mcc 1b to the existing switchboard via a spare breaker to support construction sequencing.
