Integrated Point-source Carbon Capture and Advanced Combustion At Industrial Facilities RFP

Description: The purpose of this solicitation is to fund demonstration projects that install point-source carbon capture equipment at California industrial facilities, coupled with advanced combustion system retrofits that increase CO2 concentration in flue gas, reduce fuel consumption, and lower NOx emissions. Projects must demonstrate integrated approaches in which combustion upgrades and carbon capture operate together as one system to address both GHG and criteria pollutant emissions. This research will be funded through the Advanced Combustion Initiative of the Energy Efficiency Program Area under the fiscal year 2019-2020 Gas Research and Development (Gas R&D) Program Budget Plan
