Description: The National Park Service is requesting quotes for septic and lift station pumping and cleaning at Indiana Dunes National Park in Porter, Indiana, through a blanket purchase agreement. The requirement is set aside for small businesses and includes a solicitation package with a scope of work, pumping schedule, price schedule, wage determinations, technical questionnaire, and Standard Form 18. Quotes are due by 12:00 PM CDT on September 17, 2026, and questions must be submitted by September 10, 2026.

The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and disposal necessary to: 1. Pump septic systems. 2. Clean piping systems. 3. Respond to service calls. 4. Inspect and report deficiencies. Septic pumping: Contractor will follow all IDEM, DOT, and state regulations to pump, remove, and dispose of liquid and semi- liquid sewage waste found in park septic tanks, the volumes of which range from 1,000 to 4,000 gallons. All collected material shall be transported and disposed of off-site at a IN state approved waste management facility. Contractor shall maintain all required state waste management and septic certifications. See appendix A “proposed pumping schedule” for volume details. See attached file.
