Description: The City seeks proposals from attorneys and firms to provide effective counsel to indigent defendants charged with misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor crimes. The City will form a pool of conflict public defenders for cases in which both the Public Defender and Primary Conflict Public Defender have a conflict. Zoning Board Conflict Attorney Services (Request For Qualification)
Provide legal services as zoning board conflict attorney for the calendar year 2027. Respondent will provide services as conflict attorney for the board (in cases where the board attorney is unable to represent the board due to a conflict of interest) in accordance with the terms thereof. Services may include, but are not limited to, attendance at regular and special zoning board meetings, review of applications before the board, preparation of resolutions for action by the board, preparation of professional service contracts, legal research and advice on particular projects before the board or on other matters as requested and required by the board, and any other legal services deemed to be associated with the position as conflict board attorney.
