I-78 - SR 412 to Readington Bridge

Description: PennDOT will replace deteriorated concrete pavement slabs along about two miles of westbound I-78 between the Easton Road and Redington Road bridges in Lower Saucon Township. The work includes guide-rail end-treatment and pavement-base-drain upgrades, drainage-pipe work, reconstruction and widening to extend acceleration lanes at the SR 412 entrance ramps for both directions of I-78. It also includes modifications to the eastbound bridge shoulder with strip-seal joint replacement and a PPC overlay, and rehabilitation of an existing stormwater basin near Easton Road.
