Removal and replacement of an HVAC system.
Description: Work consist of recover and properly dispose of all existing refrigerant in accordance with applicable regulation, remove and properly dispose of the existing indoor and outdoor equipment for three (3) split hvac systems, furnish and install three (3) new outdoor condensing/heat-pump units, compatible indoor evaporator coils and furnaces/air-handling equipment, furnish and install new refrigerant line sets for all three systems, evacuate and vacuum each new system to manufacturer specifications and leak-test all refrigerant lines and connections before startup. The City of Orangeburg is seeking a contractor to replace the HVAC systems at the North Road Recreation Complex. The work covers the Quad 4 and Quad 5 buildings, including removal and replacement of systems serving press boxes, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, concessions, a lobby, and an officials’ locker room. Qualification packets must be received by the Parks Department by October 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM, with inquiries directed to Marty Kinard.
