Historic Tour Program Developer with Expertise in History, Preservation, and Environmental Education

Description: The Philadelphia Water Department is seeking a professional tour developer and program planner with expertise in history, historical preservation, and environmental education for the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center. The contractor will research Philadelphia history and infrastructure, create tour scripts and educational programs, develop training and guide materials, configure self-guided technology, train staff and volunteers, and launch and monitor public tours. Deliverables include master scripts, historical fact sheets, printed guides, evaluation tools, training materials, public tour schedules, and monthly visitor dashboards, with an expected one-year term beginning October 1, 2026 and possible annual extensions.
