Hanging Basket Watering Services RFP

Description: Proposals for watering services for hanging baskets, landscape planters and new trees planted throughout the city of according to the posted specifications. Scope of work a. The successful bidder (“contractor”) shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, lift services, supervision, and incidentals required to complete the following: 1. Water a total of up to 80 baskets from spring/summer installation (april – september) to removal of summer annual color for a total of 6 months applying water a minimum of 2 times /week. 2. Water a total of up to 80 baskets from fall/winter installation (october- march) weekly depending on weather. 3. Water a total of (4) 48” black planters in the tree plaza between the crowne plaza hotel & srp park in riverside village. 4. Contractor shall remove, collect and place hanging baskets in an area agreed upon by the city of north augusta two times per year in preparation for spring/summer & fall/winter plantings. 5. Contractor shall re-install hanging baskets two times per year after spring/summer & fall/winter plantings. 6. Perform watering and removal/installation services outside of downtown business hours; preferred timeslot is early morning prior to 8:00 am. 7. City will provide a no cost water source if the contractor desires.
