Greene County Water Plant Headworks Project *RE-BID*

Project includes the installation and connection of approximately 100 LF of fully restrained 16" ductile iron piping, pipe fittings, aluminum wrapping and insulation, an inline flow meter, a 16" butterfly valve, an 8" pressure relief valve, and a 2" air vacuum release valve assembly to the existing raw water system.

Greene County Sanitary Engineering seeks bids to replace influent bar screens and washing presses at the Sugarcreek Water Resource Recovery Facility. The project is located in Sugarcreek Township, Greene County, Ohio. Bids are due via BidExpress on February 10, 2026 at 4:00 PM UTC.

Construction of new water treatment plant. Work will consists on a new 40' x 60' steel insulated building complete with foundation (concrete pad and footing) (construction site already prepared but contractor will be responsible for testing of compacted subgrade to ensure suitability of site for construction), all electrical, all HVAC, all required piping and drains for the operation of the plant, all plumbing, lighting, three (3) chemical feed systems for water treatment chemicals, 40,000 gallon steel bolted Clearwell and foundation (site not prepared), supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA), two (2) high service pumps, new 8" PVC line to connect new plant to existing raw water line, new 6" PVC treated water line to connect new plant to existing standpipe, all miscellaneous equipment and materials as required.

Headworks & Electric Improvements Project: Contract 2025-01 – General/Mechanical Construction; Contract 2025-02 – Electrical Construction. The Project includes the following Work: Removal of existing aeration systems within various treatment basins and their associated air piping systems. Selective demolition of support piers, metal walkways, and air piping within existing aeration basins. Construction of a new electrical control building. Installation of various aeration basin blowers, piping, air diffusers and associated equipment. Removal and replacement of existing mechanical screen and grit removal equipment within the Headworks Building.
