Green Pleasure Pier Deck Replacement Project

Description: The City of Avalon is soliciting qualified contractors to replace more than 14,000 square feet of pedestrian decking on the Green Pleasure Pier. Work is to be carried out as a phased construction project while maintaining access and may include replacement of stringers and pile caps if structural deficiencies are found. This is a construction procurement, not a grant program, although the city project page states that grant funds from Senator Lena Gonzales and the California Natural Resources Agency are included.
