As-Needed Ductile Iron Water Main Replacement at Various Locations No. 3
Perform as-needed water main replacement primarily for low pressure potable water but also including high pressure emergency fire water system (EFWS) pipelines, support leak & break repairs, and support new development projects. It is estimated that approx 5,000 LF of ductile iron water mains will be replaced annually for a three-year period.

Tyton Joint Ductile Iron Pipe RFP
The pipe joint fittings shall be push-on joints and the pipe shall be centrifugally cast ductile iron pipe conforming with ANSI A 21.51-1986 Class 52 pipe complete with accessories. Pipe shall be double cement lined with paint seal coat and tar coated on the outside in accordance with ANSI specifications A 21.4-1990. Tyton push-on joint rubber gaskets and joint lubricant shall conform with ANSI specifications A 21.11-1990.
