The project consists of approximately 44,600 SF of expansion and renovation work, including a new approximately 14,700 SF Grand Ballroom, meeting rooms, concourses, support spaces, servery/prep areas, offices, terraces, and extensive improvements to the existing Graham Center. Major construction scopes include selective demolition, sitework, underground utilities, concrete foundations, structural steel, precast panels, roofing, waterproofing, curtain wall and glazing, doors and hardware, drywall and ceilings, architectural finishes, millwork, elevators, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, low voltage, landscaping, paving, and associated site improvements. The work also includes significant utility relocation and enabling work, including coordination with FPL, existing campus utilities, chilled-water systems, and phased construction around active FIU operations.
