The project aims to: Create a welcoming, pedestrian-friendly corridor that feels comfortable at all hours of the day. Build high-quality bikeways that make cycling and rolling intuitive and enjoyable for users of all ages and abilities. Establish a legible corridor with consistent separation of roadway users and clear bicycle and pedestrian wayfinding signage to key destinations and nearby facilities. Widen sidewalks to accommodate people walking and using mobility devices. Introduce pedestrian-scale lighting, neighborhood-friendly street furniture, and thoughtful planting design. Reconfigure the roadway design to support slower speeds, safer turning movements, and improved crossings.
