GIWW Corpus Christi Bay To Port Isabel W/ Channel To Harlingen, Pipeline Dredging

FY26 GIWW Maintenance Dredging. Pipeline maintenance dredging and advanced maintenance dredging of the Bay. Schedule 1 will include GIWW maintenance dredging of approx. 1.5 million cubic yards (CY) of the Bay and will include varying advanced maintenance depths. Material will be placed across various placement areas located along the GIWW. This contract will be subject to several environmental windows, including bird nesting, turtle nesting, and piping plover.

The scope of this contract is for maintenance dredging via pipeline or mechanical dredging of the TCSC Main Channel with an option for the Main Turning Basin. Priority dredging is anticipated to occur from stations 8+000 to 25+000 of the main channel. However, the contract will address the entire main channel for dredging as needed. Placement will be into Shoal Point Placement Area (SPPA) 2, and/or SPPA 3-4-5 and/or the Texas City Dike PAs. Approx. 1,000,000 CY will be placed in upland confined and semi-confined placement areas.
