General Financial Auditing Services for San Marcos USD

Description: SMUSD is seeking proposals for a comprehensive annual audit of all District funds and account groups for the 2026–2027 fiscal year, under California Education Code §41020 and applicable generally accepted and government auditing standards. The work includes evaluating internal controls, reporting audit and compliance findings, conducting an exit conference, delivering audit reports, and providing Associated Student Body, cash-handling, and student-attendance workshops as requested. The initial term runs July 1, 2027 through June 30, 2028, with up to four one-year renewal options; proposals are due November 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
