General Contracting Service (Invitation for Bid)

Description: Qualified firms to provide General Contractor Services (routine services to repair, maintain, and improve VDOT owned facilities) on as "as-needed" basis to VDOT locations within the Bristol District. Services that may be requested within this solicitation include, but are not limited to: Concrete Work: form work, vapor retarder, reinforcement, construction, isolation, contraction joints, slab finishes, and curing. Masonry: matching existing masonry, pargeting, and cleaning. Rough Carpentry: wood and metal framing. Finish Carpentry: standing and running trim, paneling, flooring, cabinets, countertops and backsplashes, metal; see attached file.
