Underground Storage Tank Removal at 245 Herbst Road RFP
Kennedy Township (Allegheny County, PA) is soliciting bids to remove a diesel underground storage tank (UST) at the sanitary sewer lift station located at 245 Herbst Road in Coraopolis, PA; the tank has been out of service for decades and has leaked residual product into the pump station. The scope includes mobilization/demobilization, geophysical verification of tank location, removal and disposal of approximately one 1,000-gallon diesel UST with piping and vents, removal of residual product and contaminated soil, backfill with certified clean fill and final grading, and installation of a permanent chain-link fence.
