Fort Peck Fish Hatchery Water Supply

Description: Fish hatchery water supply. 12 penetration test borings to depths ranging from 16 to 24. 5 feet below existing grade. Soil laboratory testing geotechnical engineering review based on the data and preparation of this report these services are intended for geotechnical purposes only. The scope is not intended to explore for the presence or extent of environmental contamination in the soil or groundwater. The project site starts at the fort peck dam powerhouse, located approx. 1. 75 miles east of fort peck and below the fort peck dam, and runs parallel to yellowstone road, connecting to the existing fish hatchery water supply located north of fort peck, montana. The elevation of the existing ground surface decreases from the powerhouse (2,065 feet) to the fish hatchery water supply (2,055 feet). The pipeline will be about 12,600 LF of 18. 0-inch diameter pvc and will have a minimum depth of about 7 feet; however, the pipeline may extend up to 20 feet below existing grade to avoid disturbances of approaches, streams, and the yellowstone road. We understand the pipeline will be installed via horizontal directional boring or open-cut trenching methods. Horizontal directional drilling may include entry/exit excavations.
