Processed Foods Using USDA Commodities
Washington’s Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction seeks a processor to turn USDA-donated bulk commodities into finished, ready-to-serve foods for distribution to local education agencies. The contractor will process the food to nutrition specifications, package it, and ship it to statewide warehouses under a one-year contract with possible annual extensions for up to five years. Proposals must include per-serving costs, show nutrition compliance, and provide samples for taste testing.
