Fontaine Data Center BA090426: Two Step Invitation For Bids — Request For Statements Of Qualifications

Description: The University of Virginia is soliciting statements of qualifications through a two-step invitation for bids for full construction services for the Fontaine Data Center. The project will pre-qualify construction firms with comparable experience before issuing 100% construction documents for competitive sealed bidding. The planned approximately 50,000-square-foot facility in Charlottesville will support academic research computing and UVA Health information technology, with initial capacity of 4 MW for research computing and 500 mW for HIT and future expansion to 17 MW.
