Description: Independent financial consultant to conduct a comprehensive cost-of-service study, peer district benchmarking analysis, and attorney and investigator compensation review. The goal is to establish a sustainable, evidence-based baseline cost for operating our office. The engagement includes three main components: Peer Judicial District Comparative Cost & Operational Analysis - benchmarking our District against the 7th, 9th, and 14th Judicial Districts on operating expenditures, FTE ratios, caseload efficiency, state-mandated cost drivers, program revenue offsets, and administrative costs. Attorney & Support Staff Compensation Study - a localized market pay study comparing attorney and investigator compensation (salary, benefits, and incentives) against our funding counties and peer districts.

Grant consultants. The successful candidate must have significant experience in securing grants for a municipality from federal, state, and/or other funding sources. The successful candidate will provide the city with services related to, but not necessarily limited to: 1. Informing the city of current and anticipated funding programs in which it is eligible to participate. 2. Meet with city officials to ascertain local funding priorities, and conduct follow-up research on all current funding opportunities. 3. Determine the city’s eligibility for funding programs, and inform the city of each program’s competitiveness, current funding levels, local benefits, and responsibilities. 4. Recommend involvement in all appropriate funding programs under which the city may be eligible. 5. Upon authorization by the city’s appointed designee, the consultant will prepare all assigned grant applications. 6. After the grant applications are submitted, the consultant will follow up with each funding source during the review/scoring process. See attached file.
