Rockland Green (the Rockland County Solid Waste Management Authority) is seeking a vendor to operate and maintain the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility located at 35 Firemens Memorial Drive, Pomona, NY 10970 under Request for Proposals RFP-2026-01. Sealed proposals must be delivered to Rockland Green's offices at 166 S Route 303 West Nyack, NY 10994 and will be accepted until August 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time, with a pre-proposal conference scheduled at the HHW Facility on July 8, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The RFP may be obtained from Rockland Green's offices and proposals should be plainly marked "RFP-2026-01 Enclosed" with the proposer's name and RFP title; Rockland Green reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.

To procure contractor services to manage, operate, maintain supplies and perform maintenance and provide technical support for the Wastewater and Storm Water Programs. The WWPP requires services to support the BEP on a 24/7 basis. The WWPP currently consists of four (4) systems: (1) Wiping Solution Wastewater Pretreatment Plant (WSWPP), (2) Plating Wastewater Pretreatment Plant (PWPP), (3) Grease Trap Wastewater Pretreatment Plant (GTWPP), and (4) Wiping Solution Recycling Plant (WSRP). The WWPP includes an on-site lab and a materials storage area. Refer to Attachments 2, 3, 4, and 5 for descriptions of the four (4) systems as well as Attachment 9 and 10 for listings of the equipment that are part of the WSWPP and PWPP, respectively. The GTWPP may be removed during the course of this contract. In addition to these systems, additional systems are currently being researched that will be included in the scope of this requirement. These processes will be limited to elementary neutralization and/or oil and water separation.
