Environmental Monitors on Lobster Traps and Large Trawlers REDACTED JOFOC

Description: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, through its Acquisition and Grants Office and Western Acquisition Division, is proposing a contract to support environmental monitoring on lobster traps and large trawlers. The work includes installing scientific equipment on fishing vessels, collecting and transmitting environmental data, and providing coordination, outreach, and technical support for more than 150 vessels from Maine to North Carolina. The Gulf of Maine Lobster Foundation is identified as the sole source capable of performing the specialized services, with a period of performance from September 22, 2026, through September 21, 2031, including four one-year options.
