RFP No. 26-033 Professional Engineering Services for Biosolids Diversification Project's Thermal Drying Facility
Alexandria Renew Enterprises (AlexRenew) is soliciting professional engineering services for the design of a new thermal drying facility as part of the Biosolids Diversification Project at its advanced wastewater treatment plant. The scope includes demolition and reconstruction of an existing building, basement gallery expansion, a new thermal drying system, dewatering centrifuges, sludge screening, centrate management, and electrical upgrades coordinated with ongoing solids processing improvements. An Information Session and Site Tour is scheduled for August 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM at AlexRenew's Environmental Center (1800 Limerick Street, Alexandria, VA 22314), with proposals due by August 18, 2026.
