Description: The contractor shall perform the following activities related to the monthly maintenance and annual inspections: observe operation for any starting, stopping, leveling or door operation faults, and adjust or correct as required; examine all machine room equipment and replace controller and selector parts where necessary; geared machines: check level of lubricant; check motor and generator sleeve bearings for lubrication; inspect and repair emergency phones to maintain operation; lubricate selector guides and pivot pins; lubricate brake pivots and adjust shoes; check and adjust as required, operation of timers and time relays; clean all pits, car tops, car sills and machine rooms; check connections of guide rails and shoes; check clearance of guide rails and shoes; check for leaks around all hydraulic components. Check car buttons; check plate screws; inspect emergency alarms and stop switch; inspect key switches. See attached file.
