Electrosurgical unit (ESU)

Description: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Center for Devices and Radiological Health requires the purchase, delivery, warranty, and acceptance of one commercial Electrosurgical Unit (ESU) with all required accessories. The ESU will generate electromagnetic-disturbance signals that emulate real-world exposure conditions for laboratory experiments, test-method development, and verification activities. The required system includes a touchscreen interface, real-time tissue-impedance monitoring, 400–500 kHz output, monopolar, bipolar, and vessel-sealing modes, all necessary accessories and documentation, a minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty, and delivery within 30 calendar days after award.
