Construct new and replacement electrical infrastructure that supports terminal operations, electric vehicle charging, and harbor craft shore power systems. Base Bid A includes construction of new 15 kV medium-voltage infrastructure consisting of switchgear, transformers, switchboards, pad-mounted switches, panelboards, duct banks, conduits, manholes, pull boxes, grounding systems, and all associated civil, paving, and restoration work. The work also includes installation of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE), comprising six charging towers and twelve dispensers, performed exclusively by EVITP-certified electricians. Additional work includes exterior lighting, telecommunications and fiber optic cabling, protective bollards, and field testing, startup, commissioning, and equipment training for Port personnel. Base Bid B includes construction of a new Harbor Craft Shore Power Outlet system consisting of a shore power vault, 480V switchboard, 15kV load interrupter switch, transformers, panelboards, conduit, cabling, grounding, fencing, and associated civil improvements. Work also includes integration with existing medium-voltage systems, testing, and commissioning in coordination with terminal operations. Additive Bid C includes Port Tenant “Jankovich” electrical upgrades, consisting of new switchboard and transformer installations, conduit and duct bank construction, grounding systems, protective fencing and bollards, electrical cut-overs, temporary generator power, and coordination with SDG&E for final energization.
