ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

Description: King County Library System is seeking statements of qualifications for electrical engineering services to design a backup power system for the North Bend Library, including up to 36 hours of lighting, HVAC, and core operations during utility outages, with solar panels, batteries, and a generator if required. The expected services cover planning and feasibility, design documents and cost estimates, coordination with existing systems, procurement and bid support, and construction consulting through inspections and commissioning. KCLS will evaluate qualifications and negotiate based on demonstrated competence and fair and reasonable prices, with preference for firms experienced in backup-power systems for public spaces prone to outages.
