East Whiteland Township - Traffic Signal Upgrades

Description: Traffic signal upgrades project. Replace old sleeved mast arm and signal heads/signage at northeast corner. Replace TS-1 controller assembly with TS-2 and battery backup. Modify existing foundation to accommodate new cabinet Provide new radar/video vehicular detection (advance dilemma zone and stop bar) Provide pedestrian countdown heads. Provide new stub poles and pedestals with latching LED pushbuttons & signage. Install new conduit crossing under Lancaster Avenue. Connection to UCC. Add retroreflective backplates to existing overhead signals to remain. Township to obtain traffic signal easement at northeast corner to accommodate new equipment. Refresh stop bar and crosswalk pavement markings.
