Lease of borough-owned land for solar energy generating facility. Borough to enter into a lease with the successful firm for a term of twenty (20) years. The Borough shall pay no costs related to or arising out of the development of a renewable energy generation project including, but not limited to, the designing, permitting, acquisition, financing, ownership, construction, installation, interconnection operation, including all labor, materials, equipment, tools and supervision, of the project which is the subject of this proposal. Additionally, the Vendor shall be solely responsible for all direct and indirect operational, maintenance and repair costs of the renewable energy generation project for the term of the lease. The successful Vendor shall provide fully managed construction and operational services that include, but are not limited to, securing the necessary labor, services, equipment, permits, and approvals to develop a fully renewable energy system. The Firm will then commission, own, monitor, operate, and maintain the system after installation until buyout or removal. Removal, at the sole cost and expense of the Vendor, of all equipment, fixtures and returning the property to the same condition as it was prior to development, shall be at the sole cost and expense of the Vendor.
