DESIGN-BUILD: "One-for-one" fire alarm system replacements and associated building renovations spanning the 2027–2028 calendar years. The selected Design-Builder will provide preliminary design, construction documentation, permitting, preconstruction, construction, and warranty services. Key execution tasks include replacing existing panels with new Fire Alarm Control Panels, annunciators, and remote status panels; completely replacing all cabling within conduit; installing new initiation and notification devices (voice/strobe with bilingual announcements); upgrading elevator shunt trips and kitchen hood suppression connections; integrating General Alarm HVAC and Building Automation System (BAS) shutdowns; connecting fire sprinkler flow/tamper switches; replacing affected ceiling tiles; updating graphic maps and panel labeling; and completing all required wall patching and painting.
