PROJECT SPECIFIC INFORMATION Project Overview MnDOT requests letters of interest (LOI) for the Spot Mobility Implementation Analysis (SMIA), formerly known as the Congestion Management Safety Plan (CMSP), in order to identify and advance the implementation of low-cost, high-benefit projects to improve travel on and across state highways within MnDOT's Metro District. This effort will utilize a data-driven process to identify potential improvements that will increase person throughput, advance traveler safety, and improve operations for all modes. Project costs are not anticipated to exceed $400K. Project Goal The goal of this project is to develop a fiscally constrained workplan for spot mobility improvements that is rooted in engagement with key stakeholders.
