Department of Corrections Secondary Education Program - (Request for Proposal)
Provide Adult Basic Education (ABE) services at nine (9) correctional facilities throughout the State of Iowa. These educational services will include Literacy and English Language Learner (ELL) instruction, HiSET preparation and high school equivalency testing, and development of foundational skills necessary to support participants in transitioning to guided pathway opportunities, including postsecondary education, Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs, and apprenticeships. These services are intended to prepare qualified individuals for employment and support successful reentry into the community. Contract for 2 years with 4 annual renewals.
