The project involves reclamation of two highwalls (1,448 linear feet and 593 linear feet with water-filled pits) and demolition of a dilapidated coal washhouse near Grannys Knob Road, using adjacent cast spoil material for backfilling. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the project site on August 25, 2026, and bids must be submitted electronically through Bid Express by September 9, 2026, with an engineer's estimate of $848,655 and completion required by September 24, 2027.
