Dekalb County New Jail Project RFP

Description: The Project involves the development, design, construction, and procurement of FFE (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), operation, and maintenance to construct a new County Jail facility. County currently contemplates that the Project will include: Construction of a new County jail that includes: Dekalb County Jail Facility; +/- 56,725sf; +/- 235 rated beds; Sheriff's Administration and offices; Evidence and property storage; Multi-purpose training rooms; Expanded Intake & Booking for secure processing and classification of inmates; Full-Service Kitchen facilities; Full-Service Laundry Facilities; Sallyport for secure inmate transportation; Medical Support Space; Jail Chemical Addiction Program (JCAP) housing, classroom, and support spaces; Overall project site development and associated parking for staff and visitors.
