Dakota County Multi-Sewage Ejector Pump Project

Description: The County intends to replace several sewage ejector pumps currently in operation. The Contractor shall procure and install replacement pumps of similar capacity. Should the new equipment not be an exact dimensional match to existing infrastructure, the Contractor shall perform all necessary modifications to the electrical wiring and discharge piping to ensure full integration. Prior to installation, the Contractor is responsible for site investigation, which includes accessing wells, hatches, and covers to evaluate the integrity of existing piping and pump supports. This may require the draining of wells. Furthermore, the Contractor must verify that all existing electrical characteristics (voltage and motor size) align with the project drawings and equipment schedules. Following installation, the Contractor shall conduct comprehensive testing of each lift station to confirm that all operational, monitoring, and alarm systems are functioning as intended. The Contractor shall also be responsible for all permit coordination across the various municipal jurisdictions involved in this project.
