Provide installation of a new rotary press unit in the Sludge Holding Facility at Nampa Wastewater Treatment Plant as specified and shown in drawings. Two conveyors (one horizonal, and one inclined) will be installed to carry the dewatered sludge to the existing transfer conveyors. Transfer conveyors will be extended to receive the sludge from the new rotary press discharge conveyor.

Work includes construction of a proposed new septage receiving station, storage tanks, valves, and all other necessary appurtenances.

Construction of the new 0.5 MGD wastewater treatment plant. Phase 1 of this project shall provide for the modifications and reduction of the existing wet weather equalization pond, allowing real estate for the construction of the new WWTP process units. Additionally, Phase 1 shall provide for the construction of the two (2) 0.25 MGD sequencing batch reactor treatment train units, composed of four (4) SBR basins, two (2) post-equalization basins, and two (2) digester basins, as well as the new concrete chlorine contact basin. Phase 1 shall also provide for the elevated influent headworks steel structure and walkways around both SBR Trains. Finally, Phase 1 shall provide for the equipment installation of SBR Train 1 in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Additional items included in Phase 1 are a new on-site lift station, miscellaneous piping, and associated manholes. Phase 2 of this project shall provide for the construction of a new electrical building, installation of a new emergency power backup generator, and construction of a new chlorine building. Additionally, Phase 2 shall provide for the equipment installation of SBR Train 2 in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Phase 2 shall also provide for the installation of a new headworks microstrainer, installation of blowers, the construction of new electrical wiring, conduit, and related electrical controls, as well as all piping between units to perform a complete start-up of the new WWTP. After and only after the new WWTP comes online, Phase 2 shall provide for the decommissioning of the existing WWTP. Included as Additive Alternate Bid 1 is the installation of a new Screw Press with necessary appurtenances for a complete installation. Included as an Additive Alternate Bid 2 is the demolition of the existing WWTP. Finally, included as an Additive Alternate Bid 3 is the installation of new concrete pavement.
