Description: The North Jersey District Water Supply Commission is soliciting proposals from contractors experienced in diving and underwater construction for CONTRACT #2164 LOWER INTAKE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. The successful bidder must procure and install non-permanent aluminum plates to block the Commission’s Lower Intake and assist Commission maintenance personnel in removing existing stop logs in the Lower Intake Channel located in the Upper Gate House. This is a sealed public construction bid—not a grant program—with bids due at 1:30 PM on October 6, 2026, and a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for August 25, 2026.
