Construction Services for Narcoossee Road Turn-Lane Improvements RFP

Description: Provide construction of the elementary & middle school operational improvements project. The purpose of this project is to improve vehicular access to middle and elementary schools. Specific improvements include: extension of the northbound left turn lane into new pavement widening beyond the existing lane terminus, approx. 320 ft. Reconstruction and extension of the existing southbound (sb) right turn lane, approx. 360 ft, (auxiliary lane) on road adjacent to the school's north entrance, including removal of the existing type f curb and gutter, reconstruction of the lane edge with new type f curb and gutter, new 4" concrete sidewalk, and type b stabilization and extension of the sb right turn lane into new pavement widening beyond the existing lane terminus. Reconstruction of concrete sidewalk adjacent to the sb turn lane extension (completed in southbound phase 1). Milling and resurfacing of affected travel lanes within construction limits.
