Comprehensive Transportation Management System (Request for Proposals)

Description: Seeks a bidder who can provide a comprehensive software and technology solution. This includes software and GPS navigation tablets for managing all aspects of school bus transportation for approx. 20,000 students who travel to 200+ schools on approximately 3,000 daily routes throughout the school year to provide safe, reliable, on-time, and cost-effective transportation to students throughout the City. This includes routing; managing daily dispatch and bus operations; accurately tracking the status of all buses in the fleet; managing employee clock-in/out and time tracking; providing GPS navigation tablets and telematics units onboard buses; providing parent and school apps for parents/guardians and schools to track their student's buses and receive communications from the district; the ability to manage ad-hoc transportation for athletics and field trips; and providing data and reporting functionalities to meet the district's requirements.
