Phase 1B: Sewer District #1 Collection System Upgrades
Work includes approx 1,250 LF 8" sdr35 PVC by open cut; 750 LF of 10" sdr35 PVC; 1,600 LF 12" sdr35 pPVC; 150 LF 10" c900 PVC gravity sanitary sewer piping. This includes the installation of approximately 20 precast concrete sanitary sewer manholes. Open-cut installation of approximately 35 LF 18" HDPE storm sewer piping. Replacement of approximately 13 sewer laterals to the property line and connections to existing laterals with new cleanouts. Abandonment and removal of approximately 3250 linear feet of various gravity sanitary sewer piping and 13 manholes. Abandonment-in-place of approximately 600 LF of various gravity sanitary sewer piping. Rehabilitation of approximately 200 LF of elevated piping with cured-in-place lining and exterior pipe coating system along joyce road. Installation of approximately 200 LF of heat tracing with controls and electrical connections, and pipe insulation. Associated site work restoration, temporary maintenance of wastewater flows, erosion and sediment control measures, and work zone traffic control. Alternate 1 installation of approximately 200 LF 10" pre-insulated ductile iron gravity sewer piping, including installation of concrete footings and steel superstructure to support above-grade sewer pipe aerial crossing on joyce road. Removal and disposal of the existing above-grade 10-inch gravity sewer main and existing pipe supports. Deduction of the 200 LF base bid pipe insulation, cured-in-place lining, and exterior pipe coating system for the existing above-grade sewer main rehabilitation.
