City Planner (Request For Proposal)

Description: City planner for the city. The city planner, at the request of the business administrator, shall perform all of the services customarily performed by a city planner of a city the size of the city. Such services may include but are not necessarily limited to: 1. Providing professional planning services for the cityfor the calendar year 2026 on an as-needed basis. More specifically to assist in reviewing the master plan, zoning ordinance, housing plans, site plan, and subdivision applications proposals for zoning amendments and other related planning and zoning matters as specified by the city. 2. Assisting the city in current planning activities and advising and advising officials in the development and implementation of such policies and procedures as are necessary and proper for the development of land within the cityin a manner that is consistent with and furthers the goals of the city’s master plan; 3. Assisting the city in comprehensive planning activities, including conducting background research and data collection, formulating long-range land use plans and development policies, preparation of special planning studies, and preparation of reports and plans.
