Description: Rehabilitation of the center column through sandblasting, metal repair coating/patching, and finish coating; rehabilitation of the filter splitter box through sandblasting, metal repair coating/patching, and finish coating; clean and coat the filter overflow piping and filter influent pipe supports; replace the 12" diameter filter inlet butterfly valves for each cell with valve and actuator provided by owner. Replace steel plate walkway decking with vented aluminum decking. Replace backwash troughs with new troughs incorporating a media retaining design. Replace filter media with new media back to original design depths.
